Refer a Friend Terms & Conditions

1 Definitions

1. "Agreement" means these terms and conditions which govern this Offer.
2. "Existing Clients" means a client of Spartan FX that has completed a transaction within the past 2 years.
3. “Offer” means the Refer a Friend scheme whereby existing clients of Spartan will be eligible for the Reward subject to them introducing a Referral and that Referral making a Qualifying Transaction.
4. "Qualifying Transaction" means any subsequent completed foreign exchange transaction with a value greater than $5,000.00 (or equivalent) within twelve (12) calendar months of their account being opened. This can either be one transaction which is greater than $5,000.00 (or equivalent) or a series of transactions with a cumulative total that is greater than $5,000.00 (or equivalent). If cumulative then all transactions must be completed within the initial twelve month period.
5. "Referral" means a friend or family member of an existing client of Spartan FX that opens a personal or corporate account with Spartan FX.
6. "Referring Partner" means an individual or organisation that has an agreement in place with Spartan for referrals to be made.
7. "Reward" means a $50 Amazon voucher. Where the Existing Client is based outside the US then Spartan FX will substitute at our discretion for an equivalent amount in your local currency (e.g., for clients based in the UK the Reward will be a £ Amazon voucher). If Amazon does not operate in the area of the Existing Client then Spartan reserve the right to substitute for an alternative.
8. "Spartan FX" means Spartan FX Limited of Pixel Business Centre, 110 Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 1JH.

2 Eligibility

1. The Offer is only open to Existing Clients.
2. Spartan FX will only pay the Reward once in respect of each Referral.
3. The Referral must not have previously been a client of Spartan FX. Spartan FX will notify the Existing Client if this is the case.
4. Each Referral must complete an Initial Qualifying Transaction within twelve (12) months of an account being opened.

3 The Reward

1. Subject to the above criteria being met, Spartan FX will pay the Existing Client the Reward within 30 days of the date of the Qualifying Transaction.
2. Where the Qualifying Transaction is made up of a series of transactions, the date of the Qualifying Transaction will be the date on which the final transaction is made which takes the cumulative total of transactions above $5,000.00 (or equivalent).
3. In the event that Spartan FX has reason to believe that there has been a breach of this Agreement then they reserve the right to withhold the Reward.
4. The Reward shall be the only compensation to which the Existing Client is entitled to receive from Spartan FX, and the Reward is not transferrable for money. In the event that Spartan FX is unable to procure the indicated reward, Spartan FX reserves the right to substitute a reward of commensurate value subject to the terms of this Agreement.
5. Spartan FX will not be responsible for any postage, packing or shipping in respect of the Reward.

4 Restrictions and requirements

1. Employees of Spartan FX and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this promotion.
2. Referring Partners and (where relevant) their employees are ineligible to enter this promotion.

5 Publicity and personal information

1. Spartan FX will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. By providing Spartan FX with contact details for a Referral, the Existing Client warrants that they have the explicit consent of the Referral to share their contact details with Spartan for the purposes of this Agreement.

6 General

1. This promotion is operated by Spartan FX of Pixel Business Centre, 110 Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 1JH
2. The Reward will be sent by email to the account linked to the Existing Client’s account with Spartan FX. Postal vouchers are not available.
3. Spartan FX will not be legally responsible for any losses that were not foreseeable or which are caused by a third party.
4. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of the country in which you live.
5. Spartan FX reserves the right to alter, suspend or terminate this Offer and Spartan FX’s clients’ ability to participate in this Offer at any time for any reason.
6. Spartan FX reserves the rights to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
